Welcome Little Mims
Mims was welcomed into the Church Sunday. Lots of friends and family were there for the special occasion. She was wearing a dress that has been in the family for close to 100 years. She seemed to enjoy every minute. Rev. John Case, the minister that baptised Robert, was even there to help with the ceremony.
Here is Mims right after the service. This is her 100 year old dress and her 1 day old necklace that Hadley brought her.
Leighton, Mims and Robert after the service.
The Mason's and the Ford's at brunch after the service.
The Masons talking the Rev. Case and his wife at brunch.

Getting ready for the big day
Mims has a big weekend coming up so she invited her Grandmama up early in the week to go over a few things.
Mims is going over the alphabet and telling Grandmama where she needs to sit during the Baptism.
Mims had heard rumors that her cheeks had gotten a little...how should we put it...Plump. So she has been working hard in her Exersauer this week so that she will look her best when she is shown off to the congregation. She even went and weighed in at the doctor this week. 15 lbs, 3 oz and 25 1/4 inches tall. Her height and weight in the the 75th percentile for her age while her head runs an average 50th percentile.

What a weekend
Another busy weekend for Mims. She had family in town, watched the Rebels upset another basketball team, went out shopping and to dinner and then watched what turned out to be a pretty good Super Bowl.
Here is an action shot of Mims and her blah blah doll (thanks again Liza). They watched the Rebels take care of business on the basketball court Saturday.
Leighton and Mims pose for a picture.
Mama Coats (who celebrated her birthday over the weekend) and Mims have a conversation.
Here we have Lottie, Robert, Mims and Mama Coats
Granddaddy made it up this weekend too. He worked in the Ole Miss tennis match against Kentucky before and after the basketball game.
