Streak Continues

Mims streak continued this weekend. She has now seen 9 wins and 0 losses in her lifetime. If anybody knows Coach Bianco please let me know. I am trying to leverage some club level seats for the Mississippi State series. If he can get us seats, I will make sure Mims is present for the entire series.

Back to Dr.

She went back to the Dr. for her 6 month check-up today. No one needs to worry about her growing at this point because she is taller than 90% of the kids her age and is in the 75th percentile in weight. 27 inches tall and 17lbs, 6 oz. She managed to get out a smile even after her shots.

Mims likes to wear her visor when it is sunny out. Sweet T brought this back from the Masters for her.

Sarah Beth was in town this weekend and got to meet Mims for the first time. Mims loved her time with Sarah Beth and can't wait for more.

Mims is 6...

Six months old that is. Here is a little update on Mims favorite things at 6 months old. She can now sit-up and roll over from front to back to back to front. She loves her feet and always has them in the air or tapping them to the beat on the radio. Mims is starting to try to crawl, she is scooting around on her belly and pushing off with her toes. She will be everywhere before we know it. Talking is her all time favorite. We may not know what she is saying but she definitely has an opinion about things. She takes after her Mama vocally, but loves to talk about her DaDa! She likes all food but her favorite food is green beans and applesauce! She got her first baby doll for Easter that is her new best friend, she named her Baby GaGa. She goes to her six month check-up next Monday so we will have somemore updates then.
Here are some more pictures from the weekend.
Mims with Mom and Dad, or as she call him, Dada.

Mims loves her new hat that Aunt Sissy gave her. She is sporting it with her new Easter dress in this picture but she can't wait to wear it to the beach and baseball games.

Back from Easter

Mims really enjoyed her first Easter. She was in Meridian for the Holiday weekend. The Bun brought her a baby doll, books, eggs and all sorts of other stuff. She also got to see lots of family over the weekend.

Presley watches intently as Kathy leave the house early for Church. Mims watches Presley intently.
Here is Mims with her Cousin Meredith at the Church Easter Egg Hunt. They had a really good time and Meredith helped Mims find some great eggs.

More pictures to come.

Mims talking? You be the judge...

Some of you might think that Mims is just babbling and that she is not really saying anything, but her Dada would disagree with you.

Mims Mason -- SEC Fan of the Year

Mims seems to enjoy being outside. Robert seems to enjoy going to Ole Miss sporting events. This results in Mims going to a lot of Ole Miss sporting events. After an eventful Sunday morning of Church and brunch she headed off to watch some SEC tennis. Ole Miss took care of the Vanderbilt Commodores with a 6-1 win. This got Robert thinking...Mims has been to 3 Ole Miss tennis matches. Ole Miss has won all 3. Not bad, but then again Ole Miss is #2 in the nation in Tennis and rarely loses a home tennis match. Off to baseball.

Well lookie here. Ole Miss just swept Kentucky, and Mims attended all three games of the series. And looking back she has attended 5 other baseball games in her lifetime (Rebels won all 5 of those too) bringing her baseball record to 8-0. Now that is a pretty good record. But again, the Rebels are pretty good at baseball and win more home games than not.

Lets go back to Basketball. Seeing how Basketball is an indoor sport she only attended 1 game. That game happened to be the Kentucky game. The Rebels beat Kentucky that night and looking back I think Mims had at least a little to do with the upset win.

Ok, so she has a good record with Spring sports...Not so fast my friend. Mims, despite being less than 2 months old when the regular season ended, made it to 2 Football games last year. In those 2 games, Ole Miss not only won, but won convincingly...by a combined score of 104 to 0. That is correct, the defense has never given up a point while Mims is in attendance. Another interesting fact is that Ole Miss football is 6-1 since her birth, and that one loss came to Alabama when she was 5 days old. I think any loss that occurs when you are less than a week old does not count but I will have to check the rule book to be sure. She also went to the football scrimmage this weekend and I am pretty sure the rebels won it too.

So if you are counting she is 13-0 lifetime in all Ole Miss sporting event she has attended. If anyone knows of another fan out there with a better record let her know because Mims would like to take them to dinner.

Where has Mims been?

Mims was trying to stay out of the spotlight for a while but after overwhelming demand from the public and several threats she has decided to let her public relations team release some rare, never before seen photos.

This is Mims enjoying an evening at home. Her latest discovery...her foot.

This is just a good ole smile.

And here is Mims floating by a cherry tree in the front yard of her Oxford Estate.
